but i shall revive it today!!! is like, actually, today i am like half-dead lar.. haha... because i was having severe stomachache in the morning, then can't walk! so my mummy asked me to dun go to school lor... i spent 20 mins trying to type an sms.. so i just choosed the latest contact.. really can't type lar, half dead. worst thing is, i can't sleep! too pain le.. suffering in this manner from 6am to 8am when i can finally fall asleep after being super pain and bored, wating for any reply of sms.. haha... slept till 11pm like that? woke up in de middle to reply sms then sleep again... stomachache... haish.. hate it.. plus want to vomit and blah blah.. I HATE IT ARH!!!!!
decided to upload the photos of our class 4 ENDURANCE BIOLOGY PRACTICAL ON DISECTION OF THE EYE. haha... i feel so guilty, because i didn't managed to get de cow's eye.. the priority was given to the person who wanted to perform some kind of ritual with the cow eyes.. if not de practical would have been more interesting.. sorry !!
haha.. so fun lar! is like, eileen say my timing super good.. is like mrs choy and mr lee kept standing near our group, but i want to take de photos!! so is like when mrs choy turn away, i take photo of it, just nice put de phone into my pocket, she turn over to our group.. haha.. phew! haha...
then me and eileen very funny lar.. took my pig and compared the lens with the pig.. haha..
so overall, the steps taken by my group ( consist of me, zhu li, elaine, eileen and claudia).
removal of the muscles around the eyes. we had a hard time doing that because de muscles are really strong and obviously, the scapel and scissors are really " fantastic" .. haha.. zhu li sacrificed her pen knife in order to make de disection possible!!! thanks zhu li! elaine was de one who was doing de disection for our group, the rest are assistants!
locating the optic nerve. it was quite easy for us to do that lar.. haha... the optic nerve is white in colour! haha..
make a slight incision on the cornea to allow de aqueous humor to leak out. we can't do that.. because we are afraid of damaging the lens, so we made an incision which was not deep enough.
so proceeded to the next step, making an incision on the middle of the eye, at the sclera there.. haha.. is was not very easy too, despite de fact that we had zhu li's pen knife because we were afraid of damging the lens.. haha... but we managed to make de incision big enough to squeeze de lens out! yay!! mrs choy was like saying, we got a really fresh eye! because de lens was quite clear.. only a bit cloudy, but that is because de pig is dead.. haha..
eileen and elaine was washing the lens by removing some of the iris that was attached to it, so i went to help zhu li with making a bigger incision of the eye since now we do not have to be afraid of damaging the lens.
haha.. after washing the lens, we were like playing with it? so fun lar!!! is like, we put on the paper and it really manifies the words!! i was like so amazed!!! hehe...
elaine was really gentle, she managed to remove the iris in a close to perfect shape! so fun!! is like, it was only at that point of time then i realised that pupil was just a hole to allow light to enter.. all the while i was trying to locate de pupil, thinking that it is a kind of substance.. hehe..
then zhu li was scrapping off some of the choroid at the back of the eye ( the inner part) , then we located the blind spot because it was connected to the optic nerve.. then i think we broke de retina or something.. because we can't find de retina.. haha.. then got this yellow part beside de blind spot, so me and zhu li assumed that its de fovea (yellow spot) , since it's yellow.. haha.. so funny lar xD
found de cornea and i was holding it with my bare hand because i find the gloves kind of troublesome..haha.. it's not like the first time i am holding the meat with my hand.. so haha..
thats all the steps we had taken!! i think? haha... maybe still have somemore but i can't remember.. hehe...
