let me update about yesterday...hehe
YESTERDAY WAS FUN!!!! haha... went to school until 11am and then we set off to science centre.. ate mac and i bought 4 puzzles!!! then we go to the biopolis!!! we were visiting 3 out of 6 of the instituitions of biopolis.. seriously, i FALL IN LOVE with that place!!! is like, the moment i saw this road name called " biopolis road", i was like, hmmm...thats weird, that place got its own road name.. haha...we are fortunate... the science centre provides a bus to fetch us to biopolis from SC and from biopolis to SC.. haha... so fuN!!
the impression which biopolis gave me was like a city on top of a hill... a tightly secured city with security guards all around.. a place where all the top brains gathered together to work and find out new scientific things... thats the impression..is like the instituitions formed up a small modernised city.. i find it so COOL!! is like before XF told me about biopolis, i didn't know of its existence...now i love it!!! haha...
first we went to the nano block... went into the room which was like the control station of the block... like the main security centre... highly confidential... only authorsied personnel can enter..haha.. according to the door... haha... i find the engineers there very stress.. beside the control is a room filled with inert gas.. then they got trays of PCs.. and blah blah blah... then that place is very noisy and the engineers had to listen for any weird sounds ( supposing there is) , because weird sounds means that something is wrong and accidents may happen..haha...
went to the smart nanoparticles for cancer cells and learnt about quantom dots and nanostructured thermosensitive polymer memberane for wound dressing.. i love these 3 things!! so fuN!! haha...went to another block for dunno what i not sure..hehe... then went to SIgN... Singapore immunology network block... this block is all about out immune system.. one of the top confidential and security place... learnt about DNA and RNA thingy.. they created this gene chip which contains 48,000 genes!! so WOW... is to study the transcription of DNA to RNA...haha...
so tired.. hehe.. but fuN!
